The Overview page: every move in your workspace at a glance
Updated October 2026
The Overview is the first page you see after you sign in (Overview, the top item in the sidebar). It answers one question for the workspace you are in: what needs your attention right now? Each block links straight to the link it is about, so you can go from "something is waiting" to the right page in one click.

What the Overview shows
Everything on the page belongs to the current workspace. Switch workspaces in the sidebar and the Overview follows. Private links of other members are left out of every number and list, exactly as on the Links page.
| Block | What it lists |
|---|---|
| Moves in progress | Links with a migration checklist that is not finished yet, newest change first, up to five. Each row shows the stage of the move, the latest QA score, the share of resolvers already on the new server during a switch, and Client approved once your client said yes. |
| Recently finished | Moves finished in the last 14 days, under the moves in progress. |
| Client feedback | Links with open client comments, or a client approval in the last 14 days, with the number of open comments on each. |
| Latest QA scores | The newest finished QA report of each link, newest first, and how many reports are still running. Reports run after the switch are marked after the switch. |
| Expiring within 7 days | Active links whose expiry date falls within the next seven days, soonest first. Extend them in the link's settings if the move is not done. |
| DNS checks running | DNS propagation tracking that is still watching a switch, with the share of resolvers already answering with the new server. |
| Plan usage | How many links the workspace has and how many are active, with a link to Billing and plan. |
Blocks with lists show up to five rows. When there are more, a line such as "2 more moves: see your links" takes you to the Links page. Client feedback, Expiring within 7 days and DNS checks running only appear when they have something to show.
New preview at the top right opens the Create Link form. It is hidden for members with the Viewer role, who can read the Overview but not create links.
How to read the stage of a move
Every move in progress shows one of four stages, such as "Preparing the switch · stage 2 of 4". The stage comes from what DNSPeek already knows about the link; later stages win.
Checking the new server (stage 1 of 4)
The checklist is open and no QA report on the preview has finished yet. Run one from the link page.
Preparing the switch (stage 2 of 4)
A QA report finished, and DNS has not been switched yet. This is the time for the side-by-side compare, your client's sign-off and the DNS records step.
Switching DNS (stage 3 of 4)
You pressed I've changed the record on the switch screen, or DNS tracking is watching the switch.
Verifying after the switch (stage 4 of 4)
DNS tracking saw the new server spread, or the QA re-check after the switch has run. Finish the move with Verify & finish on the link page.
The stage is a summary. The Migration checklist on the link page is the detailed view: it also reads the TTL and where the domain points today, so its current step can be more precise. The steps themselves are explained in the migration playbook.
When the Overview is empty
When no move, DNS check, expiring link or client feedback is waiting, the page says Nothing needs your attention right now and still shows your latest QA scores and plan usage.
A workspace without any links has nothing to summarise yet, so the Overview sends you straight to the Links page, where you create your first preview link. See Getting started.
