Team policies and Google-only sign-in

Available on the Agency and Provider plansUpdated September 2026

Policies are workspace-wide rules for preview links, so a busy team cannot forget a password or leave a client’s staging site online for months. They apply to everyone in the workspace, whether links are created in the dashboard, by CSV import or through the API.

On this page

Open Team → Policies (owners and admins), change what you need and save.

PolicyEffect
Require a password on new linksA new link without a password is refused.
Allowed SSL modesLinks can only use the ticked modes. Untick Skip verification to make sure every preview checks certificates. HTTP only is reserved for a future link option; links currently use Auto, Verify or Skip verification.
Default expiry (days)Applied to a new link created without an expiry date.
Maximum lifetime (days)No link can expire later than this many days from now, and an expiry cannot be removed. Leave empty to use the plan’s rule.
Blocked domainsLinks can never point at these sites. Blocking a domain also blocks all of its subdomains.
Blocked IP rangesLinks can never point at these servers: single IPv4 or IPv6 addresses or CIDR ranges such as 203.0.113.0/24.

Policies are checked when a link is created or edited. A link that breaks a rule is refused with a message naming the rule. Existing links keep working until someone edits them.

Google-only sign-in

Turn on Members sign in with Google Workspace only to make every member except the owner sign in with Google, using an account of your company’s Google Workspace. People who signed in with a password, or with another Google account, see a notice asking them to sign in with the company account; their other workspaces stay available.

This needs a verified company domain first. See Company domains.

Plans

Team policies are part of the Agency and Provider plans. After a downgrade the saved policies stay but are no longer enforced; they apply again when you upgrade.
